Alright.  It's the question that's been on everyone's minds since last fall.  No, not "are we really going to have a Dick for a governor?"  I'm talking about more important things.  I'm talking...about figuring out when we're going to RenFest.  So, I am herein posting my known schedule of events for late August, and it'd be great if y'all would comment yours back, or post it, so that we can start some coordination.  Now, I realize that, due to some intragroup "stuff," two trips are probably in order.  W/e people...post schedules, and let's figure this shit out.

Me, August: Possibly weekend work to make up for lack in July due to boss' new kid (not here yet, expected on the 4th), but given notice, all should be well.  Also, the work is only on Sundays (at least at this point), so I still have all my August Saturdays, except the 5th, free.

Well, the Faire doesn't begin until the 19th, and I only have that and the next weekend before I'm up at school.

I know im going the 19th with mom and sis, and getting a dress *EXCITED!!!!!!!*. And then i leave to move into my appartment, as do lots of people, so i feel like a good idea might be to go on labor day weekend, since its open all three days, and some people do come home to bring more stuff up to school (is that just me?). So lemme know what you think of this idea and ask around, too. Now, there has been talk around here of visiting family out of state that weekend, but i dont know how concrete that is. Aside from that, fest will go on all through september, im sure there's a weekend we can all get home to go for the day, have a massive sleepover orgy in fest crazyness, and start a new tradition...maybe im just thinking big picture here, i dunno. ANYways, i think its a good idea. YAY!

I have no August plans except working at McDonald's, but I'll probably be done by the Faire. Elliott was planning on coming up the 23rd, I think, and we'd go to Mt. Pleasant the next day??? In order for me to be able to go, I'd need a ride down to WB and then a ride back up here by the 23rd. I'm kind of liking Missy's idea of going Labor Day weekend, that's a lot less gas money and most of us will have our apartment situations in order.

The 19th works for me as do most other weekends following. I will be having surgery again around the 5ish of September so if we can do it before then, that would be great so that I am not all drugged up for the trip.

Blah blah, I could say labor day, but I will want to go both times, so the 19th works well for me. I will probably go on the 19th regardless of what others are doing.

Well, I would definately be interested in going, but the 19th is out of the question for me. So is Labor Day weekend for that matter (I'm in NY city for a conference). I'd have to say the 26th.

I just need to mention that Meghann and I were talking about this last week, and how vital it is that we all get together and go! My work schedule is like normal work schedules. Yeah, it sucks. But I can come any weekend, as long as I get enough notice so that I can plan the long drive :-)
